We did a crazy, completely spur-of-the-moment thing on Saturday.
Zach told us his classroom had a hamster named Zoom and he wanted one at home too. Naturally we agreed with him, so we rushed right out and bought one.
A real, live hamster.
The kids named her Goldie.
She lives in Zach's room for now. Until she moves to Fish Hawk.
$4.99 for the hamster and $70 for the "stuff." It made sense at the time.
